You might think it's gross, but I enjoy a cold glass of eggnog. Unfortunately, there is a major recall for this popular holiday drink.

Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. has recalled their half-gallon Holiday Nog due to the potential of having an undeclared egg allergen.  The product number is 7631005049/21-65 with a code date of 12/19/2023 and was sold between 12/04 and 12/06.

Holiday Nog is produced and manufactured by Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc. of Edwardsville, ILL, and sold at United Dairy Farmers stores. This specific batch may have been mis-labeled related to egg allergens. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg may run the risk of serious allergic reactions if they consume these products.

If you purchased this type of eggnog, customers are told to return the produce to the local store for a full refund. You can also call Prairie Farms at 618-659-5700 for more information on the product.

This recall only applies to United Dairy Farmers Holiday Nog product only.

I know some people may make some faces when talking about eggnog, but it's not that bad. And I have come to find out those people that don't like it, have not even tried it.
