You won't see these huge manatees, known as sea cows, swimming around here in the Tri-State area, but, if you visit Florida, you might just spot one!  Be sure to check out this video!  

While on my vacation in Miami Florida, I spotted some manatees in a nearby canal.  They're huge!  Take a look.

Some interesting facts about Manatees:

Manatees like slow rivers, canals, saltwater bays, estuaries and coastal areas.  As a migratory species, they inhabit the Florida waters during the winter and move as far north as Virginia and as far west as Texas in the summer months.
