One Indiana City is Best in the Country at This Unique Travel Accommodation
I guess it's true that you can find a list or ranking for just about anything these days, and this article is a perfect (and totally random) example. We all have our own preferences when it comes to amenities when we travel - like a pool, hot tub, bunk beds, game room, etc. There are some items that you would consider necessities and that you'd assume every rental had, but you'd be wrong.
Certainly, an important part of traveling is being able to maintain your personal hygiene, and being comfortable in the process, but that means different things to different people. Some prefer a quick shower, while others prefer having a long soak in a bathtub. If you fall into that latter category, then you may want to head to central Indiana for your next trip, because Indianapolis has the most baths in America. Wait...what?
Is Indy Really America's Bath Hotspot?
Yep, it's true, and the data backs it up. QS Supplies analyzed thousands of Booking.com listings to find the percentage of accommodations (hotels, apartments, holiday rentals, etc.) in the 100 most populous U.S. cities that have baths, showers, or bidets. The report shows that 68.52% of rental accommodations in Indianapolis have baths, which is the most of any city in America.
What About Showers and Bidets?
You're gonna have to head west to stay in America's shower and bidet hotspots, but the good news is it's the same city for both - San Francisco. When it comes to showers, 71.15% of rental accommodations in San Fran have them, and as for those fancy schmancy bidets, you'll only find them in a mere 3.93% percent of rooms.
