Illinois and Indiana Police Searching for Missing Louisiana Man

Search crews in Illinois and Indiana have been very busy over the past several days looking for clues into the disappearance of a man from Louisiana.

The family and friends of Jared Michael McColloch need the public's help in locating the 33-year-old man. On Saturday, November 4, 2023, Jared started the drive to Salem, Illinois to visit his son.

Last Seen Monday, November 6, 2023

According to the Knox County, IN Sheriff’s Office Jared Michael McColloch was last seen in the area of South 6th Street Road, Vincennes, IN.

His truck was found near the Indiana and Illinois border in Knox County. That's nearly 600 miles from his hometown of Marion, Louisiana.

Jarod's mom Tammy shared this information on social media:

Monday morning we got a phone call that the truck was found on a remote road in Indiana. Both dogs were inside with their leashes on. Both driver-side doors were left open. The keys were in it and turned on. The truck ran until it ran out of gas and then the battery died at approximately 6 pm Sunday according to our app.

Jared left Saturday evening to go see his son Chandler in Salem, IL.
He made it to a gas station there in Salem at about 1 30 am.
We pulled the video and spoke to the clerk everything seemed fine.
We never made it to his destination after leaving there.
That's where there is alot of gaps in timeline

There has been a Facebook group created to share any information that can be relayed to his family Finding Jared McColloch.
Jared Michael McColloch is a white male. He is 5'9, 175 lbs and has blue eyes.
