How to ‘Trunk or Treat’ with the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville
The Boys & Girls Club of Evansville is working hard to find ways to keep things as 'normal' as possible for young people in our community. Since so many public trick or treat events have been cancelled, the Boys & Girls Club decided to throw a (safe) Trunk or Treat party instead.
So, consider this your official invitation to the Trunk or Treat fundraiser on Thursday, October 29th from 5pm-8pm at Bar Louie on Evansville's east side (7700 Eagle Crest Blvd). There will goodies for both kiddos and parents - with plenty of candy, drink specials, and delicious food. Bar Louie is also kind enough to make the night a giveback, with 15% of proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club.
We had the Club's Resource Development Director, Shanna Groeninger, on the MY Morning Show to tell us more about the event and to give us a general update on what's happening at the Club. Listen to our interview below to get more Trunk or Treat details. You'll also hear Shanna talk about openings for programs at the Boys & Girls Club. Maybe you're looking for something for your kid(s) to do after school - consider the Boys & Girls Club. Their mission is to "enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens" and that's exactly what they've been doing since 1860.
