How Do You Answer the Question ‘Do You Mind…?’ [Video]

Somebody asks you "Hey, do you mind helping me do (insert request)?" How do you answer them? My guess is you probably answer incorrectly, and I guess nobody has pointed it out to you. That's why I'm here.

If you answer the "Do you mind...?" question with a YES, you're actually telling that person that you DO mind and that you don't want to help them. The correct response would be "NO, I don't mind."

This situation happened to me and Stacey the other day. I certainly understood what she was trying to say, but I just couldn't resist pointing out (again) that she was wrong (again).

Am I being to picky? Should I just shut up and move on with my day? I have a feeling I know the answer, but sometimes I just can't help myself.
