We are very fortunate to live within an hour of one of the best theme parks in America. Holiday World & Splashin' Safari hires hundreds of seasonal team members every year. Sometimes that poses a bit of a challenge, even with bus transportation. Compass Commons will provide an affordable place for students from all over the country to live while working at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari.

Investing in Santa Claus, Indiana

6.7 million dollars is a lot to invest, and the officials with Holiday World & Splashin' Safari have dedicated that amount to build Compass Commons. This will provide affordable housing for qualifying students working at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari.

“This is a long-requested project. Holiday World has an outstanding reputation in the hospitality industry. There are students around the country and the world who have wanted to work for Holiday World for years, but were unable to join us because we couldn’t provide housing. We’re excited that the addition of Compass Commons is going to attract a new pool of enthusiastic talent. We’ve always been one of the friendliest parks in the world, and our new Team Member housing will ensure our spot at the top." - Director of Communications and Fourth-Generation Owner Leah Koch-Blumhardt
