When I hear 'Farm-to-Table' I think of a fancy show on the Food Network or a restaurant owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines. But what if I told you that you could enjoy a very nice farm-to-table dinner in Gibson County? I have all of the mouth-watering details here.

First, let's define farm-to-table: It's basically food that has been locally grown and then sourced to local restaurants. This helps local farmers and it's also great to know where our food comes from.

Lyles Station is located in rural Gibson County and is home to the Lyles Station Historic School & Museum. That's where the 2nd Annual Farm-to-Table Dinner will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM.

The delicious meal will be prepared by R’z Café and Catering in Ft. Branch, with desserts by LeeAndea's Sweet Treats, and cocktails plus a signature event drink by Klinker's Hometown Bar & Grill. We won't be eating in silence - There will be live music by Loops & Rhythms Duo featuring Monte Skelton.

This is a rain or shine dinner event and you are asked to dress Smart Casual or Farm Chic. I kind of know what Business Casual is, but I'm going to have to research these fashion terms!

Here is an example of Farm Chic - I believe the book is an optional accessory.

Before you invest in that cute dress, you'll want to buy your tickets for the dinner, because they only have a limited amount available. Tickets are $55 per person and proceeds will go to support Lyles Station.
