It is so heartwarming and encouraging to see how much the Highland Challenger League Baseball Program has grown over the years. Thousands of volunteers have helped hundreds and hundreds of kids with special needs play the greatest game in the world. The league has even represented the Tri-State on the world's biggest stage, playing a nationally televised game during the 2018 Little League World Series.

The organizers of the Challenger League put on some smaller fundraisers throughout the year, but the event that has the biggest financial impact is coming up at the end of November. It's the annual Highland Challenger League Show and it'll be held on Saturday, November 30th from 5pm-Mid at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center. The evening includes dinner, drinks, music and dancing, plus a half pot and raffle and auction items. Check out their Facebook page to see some of these items...autographed sports and music memorabilia, jewelry, sports equipment, gift certificates and more!

We had the chance to talk to Matt Pokorney and Brian Kinsey from the Challenger League. They can give you a better idea of what to expect at the Show and why this event and this league are so important. Take a listen to our interview.

All of the tables are sold out but individual tickets are still available for just $20 each.
