Come Celebrate the Grand Opening of Downtown Henderson’s New Dog Park!
The Henderson Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Downtown Henderson Partnership and the City of Henderson, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Downtown Henderson Dog Park!
You're invited to the official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, September 23rd at 5:30 PM at 22 N Water St. This celebration is all about bringing the Henderson community together and creating a fun, safe space for your furry friends to play and enjoy the outdoors!

The Downtown Henderson Dog Park isn’t just a park for pets - it's also a new gathering spot in the heart of the city. Whether you’re a local resident or just visiting, this addition is sure to add even more vibrancy to the growing downtown area. It’s a great place to meet fellow dog owners, relax, and let your pup run off some energy.
The Henderson County Humane Society will also be at the event with some of their adorable, adoptable dogs, giving you the perfect chance to meet your potential new best friend. Who knows, you might just leave the park with a new family member!

We’re thrilled to provide a new space for dogs and their families to gather downtown. It’s wonderful to drive down Water Street and see dogs playing while their owners enjoy the park.
