Nashville’s Gaylord Opryland Resort Announces the 2023 Theme for ICE!
One of the most beloved holiday events in our area is coming back! Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee just announced the theme for their annual ICE! exhibit. In case you've never had the chance to go, ICE! is a chilly, but magical indoor experience that sends you on a holiday journey through expertly crafted and chiseled ice. Two million colorful pounds of it.
ICE! has a long history at Gaylord and has featured a variety of themes including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, A Christmas Story (complete with the movie's legendary leg lamp) and more.
This year, ICE! will feature another beloved Christmas film. The announcement was made yesterday on social media.
The Polar Express is a 2004 movie that has inspired a variety of holiday events throughout the U.S. I'll be honest. I was blown away by the movie and understand its popularity.
A prime example of holiday events inspired by the film is the annual Polar Express train at French Lick Resort in southern Indiana. By the way, tickets for that train are already on sale. But, heads up! First Class and Dome Class seats are entirely SOLD OUT. In fact, all tickets for December are SOLD OUT. The only availability is Coach Class during the month of November. If you want your tickets, you better grab them!
Speaking of tickets that are already on sale, Gaylord announced that overnight packages and event tickets for ICE! are now available. You can get yours by CLICKING HERE!
