Oliver Winery is a Great Place for a Girls Getaway [Gal Pals]

Join Deb Turner's Gal Pals to find out some of the best places for "gals" to spend some lady time together.  This week, Deb takes you to a local winery in Bloomington.

Just a short road trip off I-69 North on 200 East Winery Road lies Oliver Winery.  Step up to the tasting bar and sample some sweet, semi-sweet, dry, semi-dry, or sparkling wines. During the cold season, you'll find indoor seating areas and once it warms up you can sit outdoors on their hillside picnic area overlooking a beautiful lake and landscaping..

You'll receive a list of wines to sample when you step up to the tasting bar.  I enjoyed sampling some of their semi-dry and dry wines including the Oliver Merlot and Dry Red Blend.

If you enjoy sweet wines, then you need to try their Moscato, or Soft Rose.  There's so many to choose from!  Check out their large wine selection HERE.

• Monday - Friday - 10 am - 6 pm
• Saturday - 10 am - 6 pm
• Sunday - 12 pm - 6 pm

If you have the time and money, definitely stay overnight in the area to make it a great weekend girls getaway!  If not, designate a driver and enjoy a fun winery day trip!
