Evansville’s Longest Table Returns for 1,000-Meal Community Feast
If you think your dining room gets crowded, and you’ve got a bunch of mouths to feed at family get togethers – you ain’t seen nothing yet. The Longest Table is back for its second year, and will once again bring hundreds and hundreds of people from our community together – breaking bread, and breaking down barriers.
The Longest Table is a Community Feast Like No Other
The 2nd annual Longest Table is coming up on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 4pm at the C.K. Newsome Center. Feed Evansville will serve up 1,000 free meals to families, neighbors, and friends across the city. It’s the perfect chance to meet someone new, catch up with old friends, or simply enjoy the warmth of a community coming together.
Celebrating Connection and the New Community Kitchen
This year’s event also celebrates the grand opening of the Feed Evansville Community Kitchen, a new hub dedicated to increasing food access and bringing people together. Whether you’re sitting next to someone from a different neighborhood or across from a new friend, the Longest Table is a space for conversation, connection, and understanding. Evansville has always been known for its welcoming spirit - and this event captures that beautifully.
The Longest Table is a one-of-a-kind dining experience, with 1,000 people sharing one long, communal table. While attending is free, donations are welcomed and go directly to support Feed Evansville’s mission. Every dollar raised helps the Community Kitchen and its programs, meaning the impact of the evening lasts long after the last plate is cleared.
