Family Friendly Events For Evansville: August 4-6

There are so many fun weekend events to look forward to! Get out and enjoy our awesome community! 

Volksfest 11 a.m. to midnight Thursday through Saturday with food served until 10 p.m. Those under 21 allowed until 2:30 p.m. At 4 p.m. at $5 cover. German food, music, beer (and craft beer).
Brat Trot 5K is 8 a.m. Saturday. Starts and ends at Germania Maennerchor.

First Friday’s at Haynie’s Corner, dog days of summer. Businesses in the District will be open and partnering with a local artist to showcase their incredible talent!

When: 7 p.m. Saturday
Where: The Victory
Tickets: $32 to $119 plus fees, available at all Ticketmaster outlets and at the Ford Box office of by calling 1-800-745-3000.

What: First annual Haynie’s Corner Ping Pong Open
When:1-6 p.m. Sunday
Where: Sauced Ballroom.
Admission to watch is $5 per person. 100 percent of proceeds go to Haynie’s Corner Art’s District development.

What: Evansville Stromboli Festival
When: Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday
Where: Bosse Stadium, 23 Don Mattingly Way, just south of Garvin Park
