Here’s Where to Vote in Vanderburgh County on Election Day
The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation made a slight change in the 2024/2025 calendar. A reminder was sent to parents this week about the change.
Large Voter Turnout Expected
There are several EVSC schools that serve as voting centers and are open to the public on Election Day. In years past, this hasn't been a reason to close schools for the day. Officials anticipate record voter turnout for the 2024 Presidential Election, so the school board voted to close EVSC schools on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
This change means that students will have school on Veteran's Day this year.
