Step Into the Story of Christmas

If you’ve ever seen a nativity scene, you know the story: Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus in a manger, maybe a few animals, shepherds, and wise men. But what if you could step inside the story itself? That’s exactly what’s happening this holiday season on the west side of Evansville!

Experience a Live, Interactive Nativity

The Turning Pointe Church is taking the classic nativity to the next level with a one-of-a-kind live, interactive nativity experience. Forget just looking at statues or dolls - this event lets you walk through Bethlehem as it happened that miraculous night. Small groups will journey through five different stations, both indoors and outdoors, each one bringing a piece of the nativity story to life through live reenactments.

When and Where to Attend This Unique Live Nativity

This special event is happening on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s completely free and open to everyone - no matter your religious or spiritual background. Rain or shine, you’re in for a magical evening. The Turning Pointe Church is easy to find at 9800 Middle Mt. Vernon Road.

And the experience doesn’t stop there. After you’ve completed the walk-through, you can enjoy refreshments and cozy fellowship. If you feel inspired, you can also contribute to Mistletoe Missions, a collection of local nonprofit organizations The Turning Pointe partners with during the holidays to spread a little extra joy in the community.
