Evansville IceMen Drop the Puck on 2015-16 Season This Saturday
The Evansville IceMen return to the Ford Center Saturday night to begin the journey to an ECHL title when they host the Indy Fuel.
After a 2014-15 season which saw a coaching change on New Year's Day that saw Al Sims replace Dwight Mullins, and a league-worst 15 wins, the IceMen are ready to put the past behind them and prove to the rest of the ECHL they're a force to be dealt with.
New this year for the IceMen is their realignment from the Eastern Conference to the Western Conference. They'll remain in the Midwest Division with familiar faces Cincinnati, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and Quad City, however they'll find themselves making road trips to Tusla, Oklahoma, Wichita, Kansas, and Anchorage, Alaska, home of the Alaska Aces.
Saturday night's game against the Fuel is scheduled for a 7:15 p.m. start time. Get there early as the franchise will hand out magnetic schedules courtesy of Deaconess Hospital while supplies last.
Tickets for the game are available at the Ford Center box office Monday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., or after Noon on game day. You can also get tickets online through Ticketmaster.
