Since taking office, I have made it a priority to reopen METS Routes that were paused due to COVID and the national driver shortage. I am happy to report that, since the creation of our METS Driver’s School, we have graduated seven new CDL bus drivers. This is helping us cut down on overtime and now allows us to reopen our first route.
