Evansville Domestic Violence Shelter Receives $20,000 Grant
As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Mary Kay Foundation is handing out grants to over a hundred different domestic violence shelters. The Albion Fellows Bacon Center here in Evansville was chosen to receive one of those grants!
Overall, the Mary Kay Foundation has invested nearly $42 million to shelters around the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam.
Albion Fellows Bacon Center will use these funds to help support the services that they provide for Southern Indiana, including things like hiring additional staff, completing repairs and renovations to the facility, or adding programs and resources for their clients.
