The Evansville Police Department is inviting the general public to see over 20 K-9 teams from across Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois demonstrate the skills they use to help keep the public safe.

The demonstration, in association with the United States Police Canine Association Region Five Police K-9 Dog Trials, begins at 6:00 p.m. at Central High School on North First Avenue in Evansville and will feature local and regional teams demonstrating agility, obedience, narcotics detection, criminal apprehension, and car stops.

The event is free to attend and will also feature a two child bicycle giveaways after the demonstration is complete.
