Decked-Out Jeeps and Holiday Cheer: Join the Toy Drive at Dairy Queen in Owensboro, Kentucky!

After the tremendous success of last year's fundraiser, Dairy Queen and the Owensboro Off-Road Jeepers are teaming up again for Christmas Wish. Stop by to see the incredible, decked-out Jeeps, drop off a toy for those in need, and enjoy breakfast with Santa. It’s sure to be a fun, festive event for the whole family – all for a good cause!

DAIRY QUEEN/14 FOODS HOSTS CHRISTMAS WISH FUNDRAISER

Join us for a morning of coffee, breakfast, and holiday cheer at Dairy Queen on Frederica Street in Owensboro on Saturday, November 30th, 2024. From 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, the Owensboro Off-Road Jeepers will collect toys for needy families this holiday season. It's a family-friendly event, so bring the kids to meet Santa, snap a photo, and share their Christmas wishes. We hope to see you there and help spread some holiday cheer!

When you donate, you'll receive a special discount on food at this Dairy Queen location during the event. Don't forget to wear your gear and deck out your Jeeps for some extra fun and holiday spirit!

Owensboro Offroad Jeepers is a Jeep Club based out of Owensboro, Kentucky. We are a family-oriented club that has grown from nothing to now holding a strong membership family and still growing daily! We do our best to provide this incredible Jeep community with monthly Meet and Greets, Wheeling Adventures, Charity Rides, Fundraisers, and so much more! If you have a Jeep of any sort always feel free to come to hang out with us at one of our local events! We hope to see you on our next Adventure!

2024 CHRISTMAS WISH SEASON

Thanks to the generosity of the community, over 2,000 families received Christmas last year, and over 8,000 children had presents under the tree. More than 50,000 gifts were distributed to bring holiday joy to families across the region. If you or someone you know is in need this holiday season, letter submissions are happening now, so don’t hesitate to reach out.

CHRISTMAS WISH VOLUNTEERS

Christmas Wish relies on a dedicated core group of volunteers who have passionately supported the mission for 40+ years. US Bank has been a vital partner, allowing employees to volunteer their time during the holiday season. Over the years, many businesses have embraced “Giving Programs,” contributing to the success of our efforts. It’s important to note that without the commitment of volunteers, Christmas Wish wouldn’t be possible.

Your contributions to Christmas Wish are vital, as the program operates on an annual budget of just $500 to $800. Every individual involved volunteers their time, and we’re fortunate to have our space, signage, and other essentials generously donated. Local restaurants even provide meals for our volunteers throughout the season!

When you donate, you’re directly helping children in need, ensuring they receive the joy and warmth of the holiday spirit. Your support makes a meaningful impact in our community, bringing smiles to those who need it most. Together, we can create a brighter Christmas for all!
