Bobby G. and Mayor Winnecke Try Drunk Goggles – Watch Them Fail [Video]

At this year's Walk to Remember with Logan's Promise, we had the chance to wear drunk goggles while performing simple tasks. It's a sobering experience...pun intended.

Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and I both participated in the demonstration. We wore goggles that simulated various levels of intoxication. We wore .08, .12, .17 and .25. Then we were asked to perform basic acts of coordination. As you'll see in the video, there is nothing simple about it.

While it is humorous to see people stumbling around in those goggles, and it's pretty comical to try these tasks...it is also pretty frightening to think about sharing the road with people who are this intoxicated.
