Former MLB Stars Coming to So. Indiana for 2025 Big League Baseball Classic
The Dubois County Bombers Charities, along with Visit Dubois County, are bringing the Big League Baseball Classic back for its second year, and it’s already shaping up to be better than last year. So make plans now for Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at the historic League Stadium in Huntingburg!
What Is the Big League Baseball Classic?
This is your chance to get up close to some of your favorite former MLB stars from teams like the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees, and more. They'll be hitting the field for a fun 7-inning exhibition game alongside other former major leaguers, minor leaguers, local ballplayers, and even a few local celebs.
A One-of-a-Kind Family Baseball Experience
The Big League Baseball Classic is a unique, family-friendly experience you won't want to miss. Grab the kids (don’t forget your inner child), your baseball glove, and your team spirit, and head to the ballpark for a once-in-a-lifetime evening!
Meet the Legends Taking the Field
Former St. Louis Cardinal and legendary speedster, VINCE COLEMAN, was just announced as part of the 2025 Big League Baseball Classic! Here are some of the highlights from Vince’s MLB career
- 6 straight seasons with 100+ stolen bases
- 1985 NL Rookie of the Year
- St. Louis Cardinals legend
- 6x NL stolen base champ
- And still one of the FASTEST men to ever lace up cleats.
As a Chicago Cubs fan, I am very familiar with (and a little bit triggered by) JASON ISRINGHAUSEN. There was a time when Issy was one of the most dominant closers in the league. Izzy retired with over 300 career saves, a World Series ring, and nearly 20 years in the bigs. He’ll take the mound again on August 9th at historic League Stadium.
Tickets for the 2025 Big League Baseball Classic will go on sale soon - the specific date is still TBD. BigLeagueClassic.com is the place to go for more info and answers to your questions.
