An Evansville Church Erasing Over 1 Million in Medical Debt
Families living at or below the poverty lines in the city of Evansville have at least 1.5 Million dollars of medical debt. One church is going to pay off all of those bills, with the help from Twitter.Evansville City Church has partnered with RIP Medical Debt, a non-profit on Twitter, that works on behalf of individuals, foundations and corporations to abolish medical debt and provide relief for those in need.
Donations through RIP Medical Debt allow them to purchase debt at pennies on the dollar and forgive it, forever. So, for just $15,000, the $1.5 million In medical debt will be taken care of.
