Meet ROUGE, the Snuggly Pocket Pit Bull Waiting for Her Forever Home
Our pet of the week – ROUGE – is a little lady with a big heart and even bigger hopes for a forever home! She might be small in size, but she’s overflowing with love, cuddles, and tail wags.
ROUGE is a pocket Pit Bull, just under a year old, who came to It Takes a Village as a stray back in March, alongside her sister. Sadly, when their previous owner showed up to reclaim one of them, they left ROUGE behind.
A Gentle Soul Looking for Love
ROUGE is now ready to leap into her next chapter – one filled with belly rubs, long walks, and lots of kisses. She’s sweet, snuggly, and ready to be someone’s favorite couch companion.
Help ROUGE Find Her Forever Home
Let’s give ROUGE the happy ending she’s waited so patiently for. Share her story, spread the word, and help us find her the loving family she deserves. Fill out an adoption application and then schedule a meet & greet with this cutie!

And don't forget about their RENT-A-DOG Program. A quick fill form and a copy of your photo ID will allow you to spend time with one of ITV's vetted shelter dogs. These day-dates are great for the rescues - it gets them some exercise and new information to help us get them adopted. It’s been a big hit- so don’t miss out!
