This distinguished-looking fella is HANK, our Pet of the Week from It Takes a Village. And before you learn anything else about him, know this - he is FREE to adopt!

HANK is a handsome 8-year-old, 62-pound boxer mix - bursting with personality and ready to become your new best friend. HANK is a social butterfly who’s great with dogs and adores kids, and he’d fit right in with an active family who loves to play! While he’s not the biggest fan of cats (we all have our quirks, right?), his loving and playful nature more than makes up for it.

HANK is a good ol' boy from Kentucky - he was pulled from a partner shelter and is now on the lookout for his forever home. He’s got a whole lot of love to give and is eager to share his zest for life with a family who’s ready for fun and snuggles.

As I mentioned, HANKS's adoption fee has been sponsored (in remembrance of Enzo), that means he is FREE to adopt! You can apply to adopt him today at ITVRescue.org.

If our pet of the week isn’t the right fit for your home, please visit It Takes a Village to see the other rescues that need to get fostered and adopted. And don't forget about their RENT A DOG Program. A quick fill form and copy of your photo ID will allow you time out with one of ITV's vetted shelter dogs. These day dates are great for the rescues - it gets them some exercise and new information to help us get them adopted. It’s been a big hit- so don’t miss out!
