Rob Schneider will be bringing his stand-up comedy tour to Evansville in 2023.

If you're like me, you grew up watching Rob Schneider. He has had so many iconic roles throughout the years that we use so many of his lines in our everyday conversations. Schneider gained fame during his days on Saturday Night Live in the early 90s, alongside several other big names who got their start on the show at the same time, such as Adam Sandler, David Spade, Mike Myers, Chris Rock, and Chris Farley.

After Saturday Night Live, Rob Scheider's movie career took off. You most likely recall his collaboration with Adam Sandler in movies such as Big Daddy, The Waterboy, 50 First Dates.

Perhaps you recall him from some of his leading roles in movies like The Hot Chick, The Animal, The Benchwarmers, and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo.

However you recognize Rob Schnieder, you know the name, you know the roles, and you know the absolute hilariousness that comes with him. A little fact that you may or may not know about is that his daughter is none other than singer, Elle King. She's had several hits, such as "Exes and Oh's", "Different For Girls" with Dierks Bentley, and more recently her duet with Miranda Lambert, "Drunk and I Don't Wanna Go Home".

Along with all of his success on screen, Rob is also a very funny stand-up comedian. Now, Rob Schinder will be taking his stand-up comedy show on the road, and he will have a stop in Evansville in 2023.

See How Downtown Evansville Has Changed Over the Years

I find looking back on the way things used to be fascinating. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I'm living through the current time period. The conveniences of answering any question we have in seconds, or ordering practically anything we want or need and having it delivered to our doorstep is pretty sweet. But, there is something fun about seeing how things around us have evolved. As an Evansville native, and spending quite a bit of my time in downtown Evansville (that's where the station is located), I've always appreciated the older architecture of the buildings around the area. So, I dug into the Willard Library Archives to see how a few of those areas look now compared to then. Some have changed a little, others quite a bit, and a few don't even exist any more. Take a look.
