39th Annual Golden Heritage Days This Weekend in Gibson County

We talk a lot about the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival (As we should). But, where I'm from, it's all about Golden Heritage Days. As far back as I can remember, I've always looked forward to the 3rd weekend in September, when the square around the Gibson County Courthouse comes alive with vendors, entertainment and Cinnamon Rolls! I noticed that one of my favorite Heritage Days events, Family Feud, is not on the schedule this year. That was always super fun to watch and be a part of.

This year, Logan's Promise will have a Declaration, on stage, Saturday at 6:00 P.M. The lives of Trevor Watt and James Gasaway will be honored, as well as other victims of drunk drivers.

The mission of Logan's Promise is to engage people within the community and promote the understanding and action necessary to control drinking and driving; and to increase public awareness of these problems.
