The Children's Museum of Evansville needs your help raising $25K during their 25 Days of Giving. If you've never been to CMoE as child or as an adult, you really need to check it out. It's much more that just walking around looking at old stuff you can't touch. It's an immersive, interactive experience built to stimulate the minds and imaginations of young children and adults alike.

I recently paid my first visit to CMoE during a photo shoot for the station. I was immediately blown away by how fun and touchable everything was. From the tube slides, to the Mark Twain story telling, to the Kids Kung Fu exhibit. I think I was having more fun than the kids that were there.

Educational experiences at the cMoe include programming in science, math, health, fine arts and language arts as well as a strong emphasis on problem solving and critical thinking. They also conduct field trips that provide informal learning experiences that are complementary to classroom instruction.

The Helping Hands Scholarship is offered to Title I EVSC Schools. By offering scholarships, we help schools with increased free and reduced lunch rates explore, learn, and play!
