Evansville Parks Department Releases 2023 City Pool Schedule

Because the Evansville Department of Parks & Recreation just announced that city pools will open this weekend. Kids are excited because swimming (along with diving and dunking) is awesome. Parents are excited because swimming burns a ton of energy and is a great way to wear out their kids. Everybody wins!

A Friendly Reminder...
As you prepare to visit one of our awesome city pools, just remember that you are not the only one excited about it - there will certainly be lots of other people planning a visit and hoping to have a good time. The Parks Department wants to make sure you don't forget the following...
Lastly, the Evansville Department of Parks & Recreation relies on 100+ part-time staff to help ensure our pools, golf courses and parks are open and maintained during the summer months. Patience is greatly appreciated and if there is an issue, please reach out to the Parks Main Office at 812-435-6141.
Yes, patience with pool staff is very important, but it is just as important that we have patience with one another. We're all at the pool for the same reason, right? So, let's all do our part to make sure that summer 2023 is filled with good memories of time spent at the pool.
