Discover Summer Fun With University of Evansville’s Diverse Camp Offerings
Now is the time to start making plans for this summer, especially when it comes to finding activities for the kiddos. The University of Evansville is once again offering some amazing summer camps for young people with all types of interests.
Below, you will find information about a handful of the camps, but there are many more to choose from. There are costs associated with some of the camps, but please don't let that prevent you from registering. There is financial assistance available to any student or family that needs it. Journey to Justice: June 8-June 14
The University of Evansville will lead an 8-day Journey to Justice bus tour through cities of the South to explore the history of the Civil Rights Movement. Students on this journey will learn important, valuable lessons at each stop for an impactful experience of personal reflection and application within their own community.

Dance Camp: June 17-June 21
Students in grades 6-12 will have the opportunity to learn different styles of dance including ballroom, hip-hop, modern, and more! They will also learn the benefits of healthy movement and a healthy lifestyle.
Wesley Sheppard Summer Music Camp: June 17 - Friday, June 21
This camp includes experiences in band, orchestra, and piano. Any student in grades 6-12 who has completed at least one year of band, orchestra, piano, private lessons, or similar experience is eligible to attend!
Pride Camp: June 23-June 28
This camp is for ages 13-17 and participants will spend a week living on campus at the University of Evansville. Build lifelong friends with incredible activities throughout the week while learning about social justice and activism. Hear powerful stories of LGBTQ+ history and heroes – and learn how to write your own story your way.
STEM Camp: June 24-28
The University of Evansville's Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Civil Engineering departments will jointly host a high school STEM camp in 2024. The camp is for students in grades 9-12 who are interested in hands-on exploration of STEM concepts and applications are encouraged to attend.
Springboard: July 8-July 25
SPRINGBOARD is a three-week summer program that takes place from 8am-4pm on Monday-Thursday for students entering 7th-12th grade. This program is designed to meet students where they are academically, mentally, emotionally, and economically to move them into the next phase of their futures while also supporting their community through community service.
