Two of the 10 Best Restaurants in Indiana are in Evansville
Whether you want to go out to eat someplace unique or just grab a pizza, you definitely want to know where the best restaurants are. It's pretty exciting that we have two of the 10 best restaurants in the Hoosier State right here in Evansville.
According to the experts at Best Things in Indiana, ten restaurants deserve to be called 'Best'. I assumed that all ten would be in the Indianapolis area because there are so many up north. To my surprise, two of our Evansville favorites are on the list.
Pizza King
Evansville and Pizza King go hand in hand, just like Evansville and Grippo's. If you have never tried Pizza King, don't be fooled by having pizza in the title, you should see what the Stromboli hype is about.

The unique feature of Pizza King pizza, besides the minced ingredients that allow for the perfect bite every time, is the square cut of the pie. Two-inch squares make the consumption much easier, and allow you to eat ten pieces of pizza without feeling guilty. Patrons come literally from across the nation for Pizza King pizza. It's an Indiana institution that you'll only get in the Hoosier State.
Pangea Kitchen
I will never forget my first trip to Pangea. It was a special birthday meal and I was excited to try something new. I'm super picky and I didn't know if there would be anything on the menu that I would like. That is the day that I fell in love with Neapolitan pizza.
Here's what the site had to say about Pangea;
Pasta is prepared fresh in-house as is the freshest of mozzarella for their elegantly simple pizza pies and light-and-bright options. This “Global Soul Food Market” is an innovation in fusion cuisine that, as the name suggests, brings all continents together onto one plate for an altogether out-of-this-world dining experience.
