The University of Evansville Men's Basketball team will see the return of it's core group of players when it tips off the 2015-2016 season later this year. One player however, has opted to finish his college career with another program.

According to a press release provided by the UE Athletic Department, junior Taylor Stafford has notified the staff that he will be leaving the University to play his senior year at another school.

Stafford appeared in 29 games this season, scoring a total of 49 points while registering a career-high of nine in the home win over Indiana State. He was fourth on the team in 3-points made this season with ten.

In a statement released by the University, Coach Marty Simmons said, "I cannot thank Taylor enough for his contributions to our program. In just one year, he has shown just how valuable he is as a teammate...He has done everything we have asked of him this year and we are proud that he was able to be a part of our championship-winning team this season.”
