It's a classic question and you likely have heard it asked, or sung, many times.  That question?  Who Let the Dogs Out?  Well, we're sharing some exciting news here at WBKR!  I guess you would say we're letting the cat out.  Outta the bag!  The Baha Men, the group that brought that hit song "Who Let the Dogs Out?" to radio, are coming to Owensboro!

The Baha Men will be kicking off the 25th Anniversary season of Friday After 5 at the Ruoff Mortgage Party Pier.

The Baha Men are a Grammy Award-winning group and Friday After 5 Executive Director Francine Marseille promises a monumental night when they ride into town.  She says, "We are so excited and honored to have the Baha Men come all the way to Owensboro to perform."

There's no doubt the Baha Men are going to bring their trademark energy and Caribbean flair to the Owensboro riverfront.  Their music is known internationally and has been featured in major motion pictures and at sports stadiums around the world.  On Friday, May 21st, we're going to get treated to it right here in Owensboro and it's going to be an awesome way to kick off the 25th season of Friday After 5, which, this year, will feature a Mile of Music.  In addition to stages at RiverPark Center, Smothers Park and the Owensboro Convention Center, there will be additional stages at the Holiday Inn Riverfront and the International Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Museum.

Following the Baha Men, the Party on the Pier will continue with an opening dance party hosted by DJ Shay!

This morning here on WBKR, Angel and I were joined by Dyson Knight from the Baha Men.  We talked about the upcoming concert in Owensboro, BBQ, craft beer and the weather in the Bahamas!

So, question.  Who Let the Dogs Out?  Who, who, who, who?  You're about to find out!
