The Evansville IceMen announced on Monday they've received 5'7", 150-pound forward, Alex Wideman from AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

As anyone that has followed the IceMen since their inception know, roster moves are frequent throughout the course of a season as players move from team-to-team within the ECHL, move up to the AHL, or are sent down from the AHL. The latter of which being the case with Wideman.

The 23-year-old rookie out of St. Louis, Missouri played two games for Binghamton this season after playing four with the team near the end of the 2014-15 season, and participating in Ottawa's rookie camp in September.

Wideman spent his college career at the University of Miami-Ohio where he set career highs with seven goals and 11 assists for the RedHawks during his senior season.

In other roster news, the team placed defenseman, Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel on Injured Reserve effective October 31st after he suffered a lower body injury in the first period of Saturday’s 3-2 win at Greenville and did not return. He will be re-evaluated when he is eligible to return Nov. 19.

Next up for the IceMen is their annual Education Day game at the Ford Center when they host the Indy Fuel at 9:30 a.m. They'll return to home ice Friday night at 7:15 p.m. for another game against the Fuel before hitting the road to take on the Cincinnati Cyclones for a Saturday night contest. Tickets for both upcoming home games are available at the Ford Center box office between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., or through the IceMen website.
