Become a Rock Star for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana

We are super excited to announce the theme for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Indiana's Bowl for Kids’ Sake event.

'Rock 'N Bowl 2024' is going on tour! You and your group are encouraged to dress up like your favorite rock 'n roll icons and help support Big Brothers Big Sisters.

You Pick the Stage

Teams will have the option of rolling out to one of three locations to bowl. Each event is set for different dates, so feel free to assemble rock star teams for all of them.

Event Co-Chair Aurian Garrett promises a memorable experience, complete with VIP treatment, including a red carpet, paparazzi, and a pulsating rock n roll soundtrack throughout the 2-hour bowling session.

Male Mentors Needed

Executive Director Ryan Scott emphasized the urgency of the upcoming BOWL FOR KIDS SAKE event, stating that over 100 children, primarily boys, are seeking mentors. The event aims to support the 100 NEW MALE BIGS campaign, echoing the organization's commitment to nurturing the potential of every child.

2024 Rock 'N Bowl Ambassadors

Allow me to introduce you to Big Brother Scott, who has been matched with his Little Brother Mario for just shy of 2 years. They have the rock theme figured out.

Funding Bigs and Littles

To facilitate fundraising efforts, registered bowling teams will receive personalized web pages to aid in gathering the targeted $500 for Big Brothers Big Sisters. All proceeds from the event are dedicated to supporting the current and future Littles within the local program.

This year's BOWL FOR KIDS SAKE event is poised to be a celebration of community spirit and support, uniting individuals in the shared vision of nurturing the potential of every child and fostering a brighter future.

• Event Highlights:

  • Rock N Roll-Themed Fun: Dress up as your favorite rock 'n roll band or artist.
  • VIP Treatment: Red carpet, paparazzi, and rock n roll music for the teams.
  • Contribution: All proceeds support current and future Littles in the local program.

Event Details:

• Registration: Open for 6-person bowling teams at BowlEvansville.com, BowlMtVeron.com, or BowlNewburgh.com.
• Sessions: 13 bowling sessions across Franklin Lanes Evansville, Showplace FEC Newburgh, and Posey Lanes Mount Vernon.
• Dates: April 10, 17, 18, 20, and May 8, 9.
