Thursday is going to be somewhat sunny and warmer, with a high in the 50s, but eventually rain will work its way through the Tri-State.

The real problem is tomorrow, when a wintry mix is expected to come down just before most of us head home from work. Eyewitness News Meteorologist Ron Rhodes is warning motorists to give themselves extra time for commutes. He said snow and ice will start piling up quickly.

We are looking at a less than an inch Friday evening, but up to 3 inches of snow and ice overnight into Saturday.
