This is what's happening today, Thursday January 10th, 2019

--The National Weather Service issued an updated snowfall chart for the Tri-State, and it looks like we will all see some snow. THE MAIN TIME FRAME THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT REGARDING IMPACTS FROM SNOW ACCUMULATIONS APPEARS TO BE FRIDAY EVENING/NIGHT AND INTO AT LEAST THE FIRST PART OF SATURDAY MORNING. The snow switches over to rain later on Saturday, and maybe back to some snow on Sunday. Indiana and Illinois counties can expect 4-6 inches, while Kentucky could see less 3-4”.

--German Township Fire Department was on the scene of a house fire early this morning. The house is on Mesker Park Drive, and it was empty. Additional departments were called in for assistance. Complete story from  our Media Partner Eyewitness News.

--Mayor Lloyd Winnecke is running for his third term. He has been the Mayor of Evansville since 2011, and as of right now, he does not have an opponent.

--The former PG cafe on Evansville's West Side to reopen as Amy's on Franklin as a 21 & over bar with live entertainment.
