What Could Snoop Dogg and My Little Pony Possibly Have In Common?
Apparently, Hasbro is what they have in common. That then begs the question, what does Hasbro have to with, not only Dr. Dre, but also Snoop Dogg and Tupac? The answer is pretty interesting. Hasbro, the owner of toys like My Little Pony and G.I. Joe, recently purchased Death Row Records. Let me explain.
A Canadian studio called Entertainment One purchased Death Row Records back in 2013. The studio, known as simply eOne, also owns the Peppa Pig and PJ Masks franchises. Hasbro really wanted Peppa Pig, so they just bought the whole doggone company for a cool $4 billion!
So now when you're scrolling through the Hasbro catalog of music, you know not be surprised when you see titles like The Smile Song, Love Is In Bloom and Rainbow Rocks (all from My Little Pony albums) right along side tracks like Murder Was the Case, Stranded on Death Row and Gin and Juice.
