As the old nursery rhyme goes, you have nothing to fear from oddly flavored beer. Well, you might have a little to fear, depending on how adventurous you and your taste buds happen to be.
From the rather tame choices (comparatively speaking) of chili and chocolate beer, to something a little more extreme, like garlic and bacon ale, you’ll find no shortage in the brewing world of creative mixes to guzzle down. Seems like people nowadays aren't content with simple dark and amber. Here are five flavored beers that just might surprise you — in good ways and, possibly, not so good.
