The Vanderburgh Humane Society’s beloved Pet Pictures with Santa event is back for its 39th year! This long-running Evansville holiday favorite, proudly sponsored by Heritage Federal Credit Union, happens Saturday, November 8th (10 AM-5 PM) and Sunday, November 9th (11 AM-4 PM) at Washington Square Mall in the food court.

Your Holiday Pet Photos Made Easy

If you’ve never been, this is the original Pet Pictures with Santa in the Tri-State - and still the best! For just $30, you’ll receive two digital images, perfect for your Christmas cards or to share online before Thanksgiving. Families, couples, and kids are welcome to join the fun, with or without pets. Multiple pets can be included, and yes - costumes are encouraged! The VHS even offers free holiday accessories for pets to borrow on the spot.

Santa Welcomes Pets of All Kinds!

While dogs are the most frequent visitors, Santa’s met all kinds of furry, feathered, and even scaly friends over the years - cats, chickens, pigs, snakes, goats, and even a horse or two!

Every Photo Helps Animals in Evansville

What makes this event even more special is its mission. Nearly every dollar from your photo goes directly to helping the 4,000+ animals the Vanderburgh Humane Society cares for each year through adoptions and low-cost spay/neuter programs. That’s because the photographer, venue, and even Santa himself (straight from the North Pole!) donate their time and talents.

Payment is easy - cash, card, and tap-to-pay are all accepted. Plus, the mall’s spacious food court gives pets plenty of room to relax before meeting Santa, making it stress-free for even the shyest companions.

47 (Otherwise) Good Pets Caught Doing Bad Things

No matter how well they're trained, at some point in time, a pet's primal instincts will kick in which usually ends up with something destroyed.
