VHS Offering Black Friday Adoption Special This Weekend Only

The holiday shopping season is here, and your favorite stores aren't the only ones offering great Black Friday specials.

The Vanderburgh Humane Society (VHS) is getting in the game with their own Black Friday sale with 50% off adoption fees on all black dogs, cats, rabbits, or anything with black fur Friday and Saturday only. Here's how it works according to a press release from Amanda Coburn at the VHS:

...black dogs will be adoptable for $55, black/mostly black cats for $20, black/mostly black kittens for $30, and black/mostly black rabbits for $20. This includes spay/neuter surgery and a registered microchip for all animals, plus vaccinations, testing, and deworming for dogs & cats...The shelter currently has more than 60 dogs, 20 rabbits, and 200 cats in its care.

The sale runs from Noon until 6:00 p.m. both days.
