Every small town in Indiana has its own history and culture that make it unique. Madison, Indiana seems to have something for everyone. It sits on the top of several Best of lists every year. Oh, and it is now home to a famous actor and his new wife.

Located on the banks of the Ohio River, Madison is known for its historic downtown area, Victorian architecture, and friendly community. I have never personally been to Madison, but I have a friend that loves this town so much, she named her daughter Madison. They actually lived there and thy go back for the fun holiday events.

I'm telling you, Madson has that cozy midwestern vibe that some people love to visit. Madison is part of the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs Main Street Program. This gives town representatives some really great resources and networking opportunities, so everyone can see what makes it unique.

Visitors to Madison absolutely rave about Victorian architecture, the friendly community, and the restaurants. But for Hollywood actor John Schneider, choosing to move to Indiana had more to do with his heart and a new passion for life with his wife Dee Dee Sorvino.
