Tricks for Treats [Pet Costume Contest]

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! You get to dress up and pretend to be someone else just for a night. And, I make sure to get at least one of my pets in on the fun. When my rat GusGus was alive, he accompanied me the year I was a witch and had a great time sitting my shoulder greeting trick-or-treaters. My chihuahua Chaz has been the Flying Ace. Last year, my cat Peyton Meownning dressed up like Batcat! He won the cat costume contest at the Newburgh Ghostly Stroll. Apparently, not many people dress up their cats and take them into public. Not sure why...

Anyway, we had some good sports who dressed up their dogs and cats and sent photos to us to share.

Ten of the best dressed pets were chosen for final voting. From October 16th through October 27th, you'll be able to vote for your favorite pet costume. All ten qualifiers will receive a $25 Pet Food Center gift card for food, toys, and TREATS. 1^st place winner will take home an additional $100 gift card, 2^nd place an additional $75 gift card, and 3^rd place a $50 gift card! You can vote once/day from each computer or mobile device so make sure you share with friends and family if you have a furry friend in the fight!

And, to make the treats even sweeter, we are teaming up with PC Pound Puppies. One lucky pet owner who submits a photo of their pet will win a pair of tickets to the Howl-O-Ween 'people' costume contest at Sauced. It's a frightful event where we will eat, dance and raise money for the dogs!
