For Tom Cruise, 33 is an unlucky number when it comes to love. He split from all three of his wives when they were 33. How weird is that?

Thirty-Three just happens to be a significant number for the actor's Church of Scientology. It means something about positive energy and healing powers through love.

Cruise married actress Mimi Rogers in 1987, when she was 31, before they broke up in 1990. His second marriage to Nicole Kidman lasted ten years before they split in 2001, when she was 33. Finally, Cruise wed Katie Holmes in 2006 when she was 28; she filed for divorce last week at the age of 33.

Holmes decided to divorce from Cruise because she was concerned that he would "drag" their daughter Suri into the religion as she gets older, according to TMZ.
