POTATO is our Thursday Pet of the Week from It Takes a Village. This sweet spud is waiting for someone to give her a forever home.

Meet POTATO, a sweet 2-year-old female Beagle. POTATO came to ITV as an owner surrender, and it looks like she will need a little help getting down to a healthier weight again (Her ideal weight will be around 25 pounds). POTATO blames the extra pounds on 'rona, all the extra stress and extra snacks while stuck at home. POTATO is great with kids and is being fostered with other dogs so she is getting some quality socialization. If you enjoy being active and will be a good coach to help POTATO shed some excess pounds, please complete an adoption application at ITVRescue.org. Since this sweet gal is in foster, an approved application is required to meet her. Don't waste time though, POTATO has the cutest "wiggle butt" when she meets special humans wanting to giver her a happily ever after ending. Her adoption fee is only $175 and she meets all of ITV vetting protocols.

To adopt this sweet girl, apply for adoption from ITV, schedule a meet & greet with POTATO, and maybe take her home!

All of the animals at ITV are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered and FIV/FeLV-tested.
