I was a junior bowler.  And I can't even tell you how many hours I spent inside The Bowlodrome with my fellow Gutter Guppies (yes, that was our team name) knocking down pins and trying to earn a spot in the state tournament.  As a matter of fact, it was inside Bowlodrome that I, during a pre-bowling session for one of our leagues, bowled my all-time personal best.  I bowled a 255!!  Call me a dork, but I am pretty sure I still have that trophy somewhere.

Well, as of yesterday and a post on social media, it appears that the Bowlodrome is for sale.  This post was shared on Facebook by the current owners, Jerry and Susan Dockery, who have owned the popular bowling and, yes, karaoke spot since 2013.

The post followed another from April 7th which said, "I've closed the doors to the Bowlodrome."

By the way, the Bowlodrome and Club 300 were established way back in 1953 and have had a storied tradition here in Owensboro since.  In fact, I can't even tell you how many times charity events in this town have wrapped up with spontaneous after-parties at Club 300.  Do you know how many "mom proms" I have been to in this town that have ended up with karaoke??!!

If you're interested in the facility, it is being sold "AS IS" and has over 20,000 square feet and includes a grill, the Strike Zone Cafe, a large patio area in the back and a storage building.  All are included in the asking price.

For more information, you can visit Bowlodrome's official FB page.
