Abandoned places

It was one of the grandest shopping areas in all of Missouri during its zenith, but it was also the scene of a horrific murder. Now, it's been demolished and is gone forever.

What used to be a vital St. Louis mall where the St. Louis Blues used to practice is completely dead now.

Just like the song says, you don't know what you got until it's gone.

I respect the creativity of artists, but there's a time and a place and I don't think this is either. There's a new look inside of an abandoned Missouri pool house that's been completely overtaken by graffiti vandals.

Indiana's abandoned Oak Grove School looks hauntingly beautiful through the artistic lens of this talented photographer.

You'll almost certainly never see a place like this again. Explorers found a wild $1.5 million dollar toy mansion in Illinois and took cameras inside to reveal what's been left behind.

There's just something hauntingly beautiful about abandoned places.

I will admit that I am conflicted about sharing this. On one hand, it's incredibly interesting. But, it's also incredibly dangerous. It's a video walkthrough of an abandoned Missouri mine that no one should ever enter again.
