Disclaimer: I know that this sounds like a made-up story for internet trolls. My husband sent this press release from the Department of Homeland Security, so I can assure you that it is factual.

From Florida's  Alligator Alcatraz to Indiana's Speedway Slammer

I honestly thought that Alligator Alcatraz was a tabloid story, especially since it's in Florida. Well, we all know that it is the new reality, and Indiana will be the second state to expand ICE detention space. This facility will hold 1,000 beds specifically for those apprehended by ICE. The DHS has not announced an official opening date, but the 'Speedway Slammer' is expected to be operational soon

“We are proud to work with President Trump and Secretary Noem as they remove the worst of the worst with this innovative partnership,” said Indiana Governor Mike Braun“Indiana is taking a comprehensive and collaborative approach to combating illegal immigration and will continue to lead the way among states.”
