Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign

The Evansville Police Department (EPD) has announced an increased focus on impaired driving enforcement ahead of Labor Day, working in partnership with the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI). Their mission is clear: prevent impaired driving, protect families, and save lives.

Sgt. Nick Winsett of the Evansville Police Department emphasized the importance of community cooperation:

“Our top priority is keeping our roads and our community safe. The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is an awareness effort to get the message out that drunk driving is illegal and it kills. Let’s make this a partnership between law enforcement and drivers.”
